Virus ?

Hi
every single day my AVG virus protection say I have 2 virii named as .htm and .dat - it cleans them and they back next day. I ran trend house call and said same virus was JS_traffichbar.a but I think this is wrong as when I couldn't find the things it said to look for in regedit.
please help me get rid once and for all

thanks for reply - unfortuneatly as I said those lines are not present in my registery as quoted in that page or even anything like it....aaarrrggghhh
when AVG finds the virus I get a red page saying something about $8 off my next purchase in a summer sale.
Its driving me mad....the only similarity with thetraffic one as it does use java to use up all my memory.
please help me get rid somebody must know

This is possibly the same problem i get two files that just sit there everytime i start up.


Go into MSconfig under the startup tab look for the files and uncheck them it should help
