where's the best place to buy cheap (half decent) sat equipment

I would have a look on E-bay or QXL and see if you can find a package with perhaps a patched receiver or receiver and Freecam.

i would also say try EBAY but i find that by the end of the auction most decent stuff has reached a price you would pay from a normal shop

you could try normal sat sites like :

www.sat-army.de

www.digisat.net

www.merseysat.co.uk

etc etc - i just plucked them off the top of my head and make no recommendation about any particular site
