    Default is it a virus?

    when i try to type any letter twice ( ie the t's in leter) it only puts one letter in. This hapens in all my progs. I have run norton anti virus 2003 but no virus is shown. even the delete buton does the same. is there anybody knows whether this is a virus or just my pc neds xp reloading

    nothing to do with key repeat / delay is it ??

    this is in bios as well as windows gotta be worth a look

    Boot into a command prompt, and see how the keyboard works outside Windows.

    Reloading at this point is a bit drastic, as there is most likely no problem with Windows.

    bloody strange checked allsorts bios. keyboard repeatetc all to no avail. restarted windows about 4 times then all went ok?

    u tried a new keyboard? also have u waited about 5 seconds before u push the 't' again?
