How do i go about stopping any more miles clocking up on my 2000 Passat.

Dear Ferret you can dissconnect the plug from the sender unit this located down on the left side of the transmission as you look from the front of the vehicle if your vehicle is auto dont do it.
You will however loose all the speed functions this could interfere with the ECU or MFA.
My advise is dont do it.

Stop driving it, however if it has corrupted and is displaying the wrong mileage wcan rectify this. Mobile service, 22 years experience, workmanship guaranteed in writing for as long as you own the car (max 50 years)
