    Default NT4 PAssword Cracker

I have a NT4 box at work that somebody has shagged one way or another.

No-one can log onto it and since the my company went through receivership about 12months ago nobody who is left has a clue where the master password list is (or that we should have one).

Where can I download a password cracker from to get/change the local administrators' password, its SP6.

A cracker is the only solution I can think of but if anyone has any other suggestions pls feel free.

    Cheers

There is an open source thing that creates a boot floppy within a linux environment that allows you to change the admin password or give a usual user admin rights.

Trying the HDD in another pc won't work cos you working with data....and the data is the same whichever pc has the drive plugged into.

Gimme an hour I'll try and find the link for the above.

    IT people slash forward.

Also, lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....
