does anyone know where i can pick up a cheap handheld transceiver that covers 440-460mhz
Most dual band ham transceivers will cover this frequecy, they would come either opened up or the supplier will have info on how to do the mod,, best places is the free ads papers or look here http://www.rsgb.org for info on the rallies ,, you should be able to pick up a second hand set from them.
