Strange problem with xbox

I've got an openBox fitted in my xbox with Evox 2.5 bios, but for some reason when I press reset button to load the original xbox its giving me the "Your xbox requires service" message, yet it boots and plays everything fine when booting the EvoX Bios.

Any ideas?

Evolution board? you mean the evo-x dashboard? Yes i got that installed, just done it recently, is that the problem?

evo dash wont boot with chip turned off , u need to put original dash back to boot m8

reflash it with the ybox version of the bios. that way you can rename the original dash back to xboxdash.xbe and the evox one to yboxdash.xbe. when you turn it off, it will boot as normal.
