    Celtic 7 Aberdeen 0 (SPL/EPL Rammy)

Celtic played much more like the team I know and love.

Our dip in form over the past few weeks, culminating in the horror show against Blackburn,is now over(officially...!!!)

Funniest song ive heard in a long time was when Aberdeen fans started singing(when Celtic were 5-0 up)..."we'll beat you 6-5".

    Johny Hartson 4 goals...
    "Theres only ONE Johny Hartson,
    Hes got no hair,
    But we dont care,
    Walking in a Hartson wonderland..."

Funny I havnt seen Nookie about

Shame the Result was the equivalent of
    Real madrid Beating Lanzarote 7-0
With Mcmanaman getting 6 goals and Del bosque bringing himself on to score the last.

Ahhh but you have to understand football,to appreciate the intricacies of knowledgable football...!!!
We are the wonder,no the enigma of world football that mere mortals will never comprehend....its all in the mind.
To help you understand,we simply draw teams into a false sense of security, and then subtely dissect them in the name of football,in a manner that almost defies "the beautiful game".
Watch my young friend,as we destroy the power of evil that lies theirin the place they call "Ewood".
The journey has begun, and all will end victorious for the "chosen ones"

    Anyway...FK that,McManamans an arse-hole :

scottish teams have a good record against english opposition and if rangers or septic played in the english league with the same money english teams get from the tv deals they would be first and second every season.

    LOL! :signs: :signs:

Sorry- is that a joke? I asumed so but don't mean to offend you if you actually meant that, but you were joking right?

EDIT- just noticed someone has put a similar reply to me above!!

I am genuinely not sure now whether you are joking or not, on first look I thought it was a tongue in cheek type joke, but now i think maybe you were serious???

You mean the faroes that lost by one goal to the mighty Germans in Germany?

Quite amusing that you think you didn't lose to the macedonians though - for a side supposedly in the top 10 in the world :rolls:

Surely the only indication as to the level of the teams in the SPL and the teams in the Prem are the performances in Europe. So lets have a look, last season:
    Liverpool: QF
    Man U: SF
    Arsenal: 2nd Group Stage

    Not too shoddy...

Rangers: Did not qualify due to the poor rating of the SPL.
    Celtic: 1st Round.

no, the indication is when they play each other surely, scottish clubs have always done well against english clubs. not that the english can call there league english, most top clubs hardly include any homebased players(scotland the same i know ) take them out of the equasion and we would see how good english football is.

sky will have rangers and septic playing down there soon so watch out gunner

Are you sure you know your stuff m8.

If we are speaking about last season - Rangers got beat in a qualifier and ended up in the UEFA Cup. They lost to finalists.

Celtic were robbed on more than one occasion - only narrowly beaten by Juve away and beat them at home.

I would say that is not too shabby m8.

Ok, my mistake m8. Rangers got knocked out of the qualifiers, and Celtic (though unlucky) went out at the first hurdle.

But on this basis it is hard to put up any sort of EPL v SPL debate as the only competition that both teams play in is Europe.
