Just got a Pioneer 104 DVDr its a smashing peace of kit. Burning games on prassi no problem. But when i come to use firburner/Cdrwin it dosent want to know, No i no that Fireburner dosent like the A04 but all Cdrwin dose at the start when i click on the icon is tell me it dosent detect any Recording divices.?
Also im awware that you can burn useing Nero and ive been told by Gav. How it works but can i hell get the twat to work. Can any one shine any light on what i need or what im dooing wrong Please Cheers. By the way i use White lable DVDs on Primo and i have philips CDRs for the PC.

gooch forgot to ask you in the pm m8, havent you got a cdwriter you can use fireburner or cdrwin with m8, then just use your ao4 for dvd discs

as i said i cannot write ANY cd media on my dvd writer i can only burn dvd discs, i have no idea why coz i KNOW it IS a cd rewriter aswell.

I have m8 yea BUT the thing is ive got one of thosr soundblaster live platinum ir drives in the spare port.So im buggered unless i can get this Nero to work or a patch for CDrwin to sort me out.

dont think your gonna have much luck with cdrwin, my dvd writer wont work with it either m8, but mine is recognised in fireburner but ive never used it to burn a cd coz i said it wont work with cdr/rw.

cant you just get a long ide cable, and a power splitter and put it on top of your case m8, or do wot i do sometimes and leave the side of the case off and just connect it while its on the floor just so you can burn a cd, pain in the arse i know but at least it will work for now

good idea m8 i mite just do that if all else fails. How would i set that up then would i have to make the CDR a Slave drive or somink.?
cos i would have a DVD/DVDr/the Ir drive 3half inch floppy and then have to connect the CDR on the side. ?

yeah just make it a slave m8, you could slave it off any other ide device in yer pc, should work no probs at leasst you will be able to use cdrwin and fireburner for the cue files
