I have tried changing their attributes but still no joy. inthe past i have been able to delete some in dos but these are stubborn *******s and dos says file not found (when using wild card). some films delete no prob

um... this may be a stab in the dark, but make sure you.

    1) close all mediums (ie kazza/dc/etc...etc..)
    2) unmount any iso's (daemon tools etc...)
    3) close any burning s/w you may have used.

    and try again

oh and be sure to close not minimise

Ive had this problem b4, r u running xp?
In xp if u have a corrupt movie on your drive as soon as it is highlighted xp tries to find its 'properties' by going through the entire data of the film which takes ages. While its doing this u cannot delete the file. Best way is just do summit else and wait half an hour then delete it. There is a fix for this as a mate sent me a patch for it but I hav'nt got it anymore and don't know what its called.(sorry)
If nature always takes the easiest route, what's easier...?
The creation of billions of galaxies each containing trillions of stars each with their own solar systems, some with planets that have evolved civilisations with billions of different life forms. OR The creation of just your imagination?

This also happens if it's an incomplete avi file, I use a little program called Div X fix which reindexes the file. you can then delete it straight away.
