Unlock Samsung F490v?

Is it possible to unlock a Samsung F490v for free? There are sites that want to charge me for a code then there are other sites saying it cannot be done with a code, I'm a bit confused.

If unlocking via code is possible there must be a generator out there somewhere. Anyone know of one?

I don't think you need any hardware for this. The standard USB cable that came with the phone should be enough. I'm not sure which software to use though. I'll have a look.

Any update ??? Beerman i can only find hardware based solution or server based not sure if Thewayforward has found anything.

If you can do without it for a couple of days then like i say more than happy to plug it on nspro
