    no, its just speculation m8...

cos they started limiting all their 56k accounts down to a certain nuber of hours a day, it is speculated that in time they will do the same thing to their broad band users.. except instead of time limit it will be a d/l limit..

i dunno how they can justify this and my bet is that they would lose millions of customers overnight if they did enforce a 1Gb limit..

its not set in stone m8, just speculation..

heres a story u may wish to have a look at tho:
    BTo to cap ADSL?
    By Tim Richardson

The Register has received a number of emails from worried customers of BTopenworld asking if the ISP's decision to cap its unmetered dial-up service could have an impact on its broadband service.

It seems they're concerned that if BTopenworld caps its dial-up service, what is stopping it from capping its broadband service? The answer, of course, is nothing.

Let's look at the state of play.

BT Broadband - the new no-frills service launched by BT Retail - has a daily download limit of 1GB and the monster telco says it may introduce "further charges in the future for customers whose use exceeds this figure".

Earlier this month BTopenworld set out letters to its broadband satellite users warning them that it would impose restrictions if people used the service too much.

And now BTopenworld has capped the use of its supposedly unmetered dial-up service.

Insiders have already told The Register that BTopenworld intends to start restricting its ADSL service for its heaviest users.

Anyone spot a pattern developing here? ®

nah mate thats just cuz the wankers limit the people on 56k

for any people thinking of moving house and are on bt,dont move.
takes about 2 weeks to cancel line where u are, then have to sign up again at new house ,unless u dont care about contract or can get better deal, and that`ll take about 2 weeks

    im broadbandless for a month
sneaked back parents to type this lol

at least aol dialup is free
