Does this site load ok for everyone else?

just doing this for someone and its not finished yet, i have to add the text to the pictures for search engines and meta/seo etc plus some other bits and bobs.

Site looks good and loads well, in Firefox and Chromium on Ubuntu. However the copy on the site is appalling. I would recommend this is rechecked and in some places re-written.

Yeah m8 the copy is all in draft at the minute and awaiting the final copy from the customer, all the text is just filler text until i get the finished draft.

As I said thought the site looks good.

loads well for me but i would look into using actual text for images as this will not do good for seo at all. you could look into using sIFR for this but actual html tags h1 and p tags will be more beneficial. might be worth mentioning the area you focus in mainly as well because it doesnt mention if it is uk wide on the site

the final draft will include full location details m8. and text for images is not needed trust me, i can get a top seo and meta score without text on images without any penilisations from google etc. over the last few years i have done a few site like this and early on i made a few mistakes but picked up how to get round those and today i can guarantee good seo results, thousands of organic targetted traffic monthly and good rankings all round.

how do you manage to do all that with no text, im just interested as it may come in handy for me

if i told you id have to kill you lol j/k, its all in the submissions m8, you get the submissions right they take care of the seo. like i said ive learnt the hard way how to get massive targetted traffic to sites. it would take me a full day to explain fully.

Neat looking site

Only thing I noticed (except stray appostrophes) is, the mousover effect on the various buttons seems a bit odd: you get the highlight only whilst keeping the mouse on the border of the box, so moving into the box, you just get a flicker. Perhaps that's intentional though?
