OSX Upgrade?

I have an iBook G3 running 10.3 and I have a mac mini running 10.4. Can I use the 10.4 disk from the mac mini to upgrade my G3?

Probably not because most disks are locked to their type.

eg Macbook disk work on Macbooks and iMac for iMac
If you get a retail disk it will work because they are not system specific.
