    Question Buying shares with credit

    Right,

This is a stab in the dark. Also probably a no go.

If you get a credit card with 12 months 0% balance transfers or 0% purchases. Pour it in to shares of a company. In the short term is this worth it?

I suppose the company would need to grow at an exceptional rate.

    In theory this could work.

    What are your thoughts.. ?

I know fa about shares but I can tell you this - if it works, very well done - you've made money out of nothing. If it doesn't, you're in the shit. I believe people commonly say when talking about stocks and shares that you should only invest money that you are prepared to never see again. If you haven't got any of that kind of money than may be this may not be the wisest idea?

Very very risky, I had considered this myself but thought against it. If you're going to give it a try though nows the time, the FTSE has dropped a lot of points over the past month or more.

I would say the opposite, now is a terrible time. There's an emergency budget on the 22nd of June which will be a reality check for most people to cut back on credit & buying luxury items willy nilly.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

I would say the opposite (again), now is a perfect time to be buying, the eurozone fears have dropped share prices so now is a good time to be averaging down\buying shares. Once the issues are ironed out people will wonder why they didn't buy shares at current prices.
