    Default a day at aintree

    a bit of a story....

a friend of mine decided after hanging his leathers up for 10 years he would take up sidecar racing again something he did very competetivly for quite a few years so i decided to have a trip to aintree to watch him race

joe ( the driver ) is getting on a bit at 62 years old and believe it or not his passenger is 76
his regular passenger is suffering from a broken collar bone joe managed to lose him at the last race meeting and apart from a couple of tryers ( the first lasted half a lap before he crapped himself and the second managed 2 laps luckily these were parctise laps and not in the middle of a race ) the old feller was the only one willing to race with him but he knows his stuff so no worries
joe said he would take it easy cos old folk don't mend like the young uns
despite all this he's still leading the championship in his class
it just goes to show your never too old

a couple more but of the bikes

    this lad was doing well

next meets is july 10th so i'l be there if nothing important crops up

    Excellent shots Cosmicma.

One crazy dude on that sidecar though because those things go FAST!!

Nice panning in these shots also.
