I had bought tickets for this to sell on - I thought that if England did well in the world cup then there would be a football fever about this. LOL

Now its postponed and I can get a refund (WIN)

A:3K to be postponed until summer 2011

Director of A:3K Terry Byrne said "Both Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney have made it clear they believe it would be inappropriate for them to participate in A:3K at this time. We fully understand and respect both players' decisions. We could have replaced them with two other players but feel the players involved are six of the best in the world - and that is what we promised we would deliver.
Having consulted all parties involved, everyone agreed the only decision possible was to postpone the event until next summer when we intend to deliver the same six player line up. Our priority right now is to our customers who have purchased tickets. We will be offering a full refund or the option to keep the tickets for next year's event. Once again all of us at A:3K would like to apologise to our customers, our partners and stakeholders for any inconvenience caused by the postponement."
President of International for AEG Live, Rob Hallett, who was promoting the event said "As a football fan I totally understand and respect Steven and Wayne's decision to postpone their involvement in A:3K until next year. We look forward to hosting the event at The O2 arena on the rescheduled date in June 2011."

On 17 July 2010, A:3k Football will bring six of the world's greatest footballers together under one roof; all competing for the ultimate prize to be crowned the first A:3k Football champion. A:3k have gathered over £300 million (transfer value) of global football talent to compete in a series of gladiatorial games of skill.
We can now confirm that Cristiano Ronaldo, Cesc Fabregas, Steven Gerrard, Didier Drogba, David Villa and Wayne Rooney will make up the exclusive A:3K line up, with one more payer to be announced in the coming days. The players will be stripped back to expose their raw talent, while standing alone with no teammates or manager to turn to. They will be competing head to head in a series of skills based challenges that will test their technique and nerve in ways they have never encountered before.
Set in a futuristic arena on a black Astroturf surface, the challenges combine technology and theatre to create a breathtaking spectacle of lasers, special effects and audio.

As with anybody who buys tickets to tout them off, I hope you made a big fuck off loss on the booking fee at least.

He won't loose out booking fees will be returned so should postage as they probably haven't sent the tickets but even if they have they should refund and claim from their insurance.

AEG are taking a battering first Michael Jackson and now this.
