Title Updates

I've had a search and read numerous pages on getting title updates to work on an offline machine..... i've done as they say but it's having non of it.

I want to apply updates to Trials HD to enable the DLC, i've got all 3 titles updates, placed them in the cache folder, started the game and nothing.... no update.

To transfer them i'm sticking the update onto a USB drive, transfering them to the cache folder using freestyle dash, exiting to my freeboot dash, then launching the game.

I'm assuming they should just work as i start the game prompting me theres an update available. The version of Trials HD i have is the USA release, as is the DLC, i'm not sure if the title updates are for the USA version as i can't find any info on them (pretty hard to come by in the first place!!).

Does anyone have any info that will help me? Either a reliable source for title updates or if i'm doing something wrong.

Title updates just 'run' they don't need to install as such. Best way to see if it's worked if the DLC appears.

have you put the dlc in the correct folder?

Yeah, everything is in the correct place according to tutorials, only found one source for the update and there's no region info with it..... if that makes any difference.
