Interviews are simply a way for an employer to find out if he/she likes you.

So long as your confident and assertive, you'll be fine. Especially with a school. Working for schools is definitely the way to go!

Total doddle. Finish work at 4pm. With all summer off! For not a too bad wage. I've been trying to get into a school for ages, but havent had the luck of an interview yet!

Good luck with your interview! Coming from someone in HR - the points in the thread already mentioned will keep you on the right track... if anything little overkill for the role.

I need to advertise a job later this week for an IT Support Analyst and cringe at the number of applicants already!

Well, shoes polished, white shirt ironed a blue tie picked out and the suite is in the bag ready.
Alarm set for 7am so I can take it easy in the morning.
3 forms of ID ready for a CRB check
Can't find any of my certificates other than my GCSE ones but phone system courses don't really matter do they. I wish I could find the stuff from the MCP for windows 2000 and my A levels but I have had the house and my Grans house upside down this last week and time is now up.

Safeguarding children studdied and its pretty much common sense just keep an eye out for the signs and inform the correct people of any suspicions or if any child wants to confide in me don't keep it to myself and make notes of what is said.

Well that went ok, why is it that when I need to rembember stuff I forget it, bleading acronyms what does RAID and DHCP stand foryes I remembered them after they took the paper off us. But the writen test was just stupid stuff like that. Doh!

Tour of the school was embarasing, everyone we walked past saying hiya John even my Mum came in to say hello as we were waiting she had never seen me in a suit neither had I to be honest. Even people I didn't know saying hiya to me. The other candidates I feel were better than me, knowing about all sorts of other stuff I have never had the need to use or know about not that any was relevent at the school but it would sound good.

Hope to know somthing by later today I will be back there later as I have somthing to do with the PTFA there tonight.
