EFS cracker

Hey guys,
Does anyone have any software to remove EFS encryption?
On my old XP laptop I had my documents encrypted with EFS and had the encryption cert stored in a safe place.
When I got my new Win7 laptop I thought I had decryped all the files before copying them onto the new laptop. I then encrypted them on the new laptop, again copying the cert somewhere safe.
Anyhow I have dropped a bollock on two counts.
1) I overwrote the original encryption cert.
2) I hadn't decrypted a folder with the old cert, so is now on the new laptop encryted with an old certificate that I don't have.

Any ways rounds this?

I'm sure (I hope) I have the folder backup somewhere and I can just delet this encrypted copy however I can't put my hand on it, and until I do find it this is the only copy of my photos. We're talking baby pictures, holiday pictures, wedding pictures.

Actually, I've just found my spare hard drive with the backup on it, thank god!

Out of interest though, is there a way round EFS?

To be honest never really looked into it but have always been of the view that if you've lost the old kit and you don't have the certificate then you're pretty much screwed!

There's software like this:

But even that doesn't support brute forcing the keys - it still tries to locate the deleted keys on the disk itself!
