Just to let you know, I have heard that the 105's are to be recalled due to some fault

Where did you hear this? If there is a fault can it be fixed via a firmware update?

Ive been tryign to order from various companies but all are out of stock.

Just what a guy I know said who bought 10. Reckons they have been recalled, however like you state, I have also not officially heard this.

I've written 30 discs on my 105 so far and only had one beer mat.

All have been a mixture of source material and have worked fine on my Sony DAV-S800 and XBOX.
