Notebook Bleeps?

Does anybody know where i can get a list of the Bleep codes for a Dell Lattitude M233XT Notebook?

The bleeps I am getting are 5 long bleeps followed by a pause then 3 more then it shuts off.

sounds like a dead battery to me

I checked battery etc. Get same bleeps with mains plugged in. All the lights flash when bleeping. No sign of life on the screen either....

Have you tried it from the mains with the battery removed? You can download a reference manual with beep codes etc from Dell.
