Default Gamecube Media? No more g04???

My qoob pro is playing up and i cant play my own backups that i bought. I have tweaked the pot via multimeter and still no joy. It does play the originals fine and dandy. So any one using newer media to burn their own backups??

I ended up buying a case so I could use full sized disks back in the day, but these days you'd be as well just getting a cheap wii.

Lasers go weak reading from burned media, Originals are pressed so the laser reads it fine.

You could try new discs, what brand or dye marker id do your discs have?

Traxdata (Ritek) dye are the one I always used and were perfect.

I have some verbatim and some mini dvd here that used to work fine but now wont boot and new burns also fail to boot.
I do have another cube here thats now modded and I just watched a youtube video of a laser replacement. Might get some disks first tbh some new traxdata i guess.

When i tweaked the pot i got it to 160,170,180.190.and about 200 and still no joy

All swapped and still the same problems. It wont play backups. Modchip seems fine tbh. Got to hunt some decent media.

    Thanks to Bobby Bouché
