View notes from iphone backup in itunes?

I have deleted some notes from my iphone which I need back, I don't think I have sync'd since I deleted them so can I access them on my PC? I have found tuts which require a mac to extract the backup then SSH the data to the phone but is there a way of just viewing some of my notes?

I only have a PC with windows so mac solutions are no good unless I install a virtual mac.

Unfortunately my iPhone has synced with my gmail account since thus removed them from there

i rescued loads of photos and a login from an old backup using backup extractor on my mac. There must be a similar pc app ?

anyway if you want me to try getting them, upload a backup somewhere and pm me the link and i'll try getting them out.

google says there are a few but I haven't tried any.

Thank You, that's just enabled me to get back my contacts I lost when upgrading to an iPhone 4 from a 3G. Gonna have to input them manually but that's better than losing them outright.

Looks good but I get an unhandled exception error 'Specified cast is not valid' on Windows 7 x64 Same problem with 2.5.5 and 2.5.6 in XP SP3 compatibility mode. And same on 32bit Vista.

Does that software work for anyone on a PC? I have tried 4 different PCs/laptops now with 32 and 64 bit XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and have the same error. I have tried 2.5.5, 2.5.6, and even v1 of the app. So it's not a corrupted download.

have you tried right clicking and setting compatibility mode as XP ?

Do you use Gmail? It automatically syncs my notes onto a "Notes" label for me - really handy too.

Don't have access to a mac anymore and the note got deleted from gmail when it sync's itself. Will see what I can come up with.

Tried it on my win 7, loaded and found my backups but after a while it crashed.
Will have a look and see if I can find any more info or anything else.

ive just tried and got it working on win7 to get it working I downloaded it from their site then found a copy of a keygen on binsearch (search for Reincubate.iPhone.Backup.Extractor.v2.1.Incl.Keygen-Lz0.rar)

i found that both the original and the binsearch verson would only work for a couple of seconds before crashing and it was only by chance that I got it working after fiddling with both so I thought I'd share

I made 2 folders on the desktop 1 with the original download and the one with the version that comes with the keygen, run the one from binsearch and run the keygen -it has to be in the same folder on the desktop to work, then once registered take the keygen and the unob-iPhoneBackupExtractor file out and leave them on the desktop. then go back to the original one that you downloaded from them directly and make sure theres only the 5 original files from the rar/zip you downloaded in there then run the application again, and it all should work on their own they crashed but together they work
