My mates PB is playing up. It wont boot into windows, just keeps restarting. When booted in dos the text is warped as if fine vertical lines breaking up the display. I managed to reinstall windows and it seemed to clear this problem for about 12 hours but its back again now. I thought about trying a different graphics card but it has no slot for one, only pci slots. as the graphics is built in to the Mobo. Has anyone any suggestions.

I am getting the message 'Windows protection Error. You need to restart your computer'

OK I think Ive sussed it. Faulty RAM chip.
