    Question IP Camera's

Does anyone know anything much about IP camera's??

Thinking of getting something to keep an eye on my driveway etc.

I guess some sort of night vision is advantageous.

Wireless would be preferable but I could accommodate wired, possibly via home plugs.

I have a Synology Diskstation DS207 NAS which has specific support for IP cams. Currently has 4TB of storage in a raid arrangement so plenty of space.

    Budget would be sub £200.

Your thoughts and experience would be appreciated.

you will need at least one wire for the power to the camera. The Y-cams are supposed to be very good, not sure on pricing though. I know someone who has set them up for a few people and no one has ever complained about them.

Y-Cam was one of the ones that cropped up on Google earlier.

Power wise, I'm guessing that it's some sort of DC supply from a TX, so I guess if you're punching through the wall with a power cable, adding some Cat5/6 isn't gonna make much more work.
