Best Chinese, 'Pete's' no processed shit, only uses fresh meat and veg.

Every pizza is delicious and never cost more than 3 quid.

Chip Shop - Lambros Fish & Chips in the Dhekelia British Forces Garrison.
Chinese - Yu Shan. Well established restaurant that's recently moved to spanking new premises
Indian - Masalas. Just down the road from me. Always go for Chicken Tikka with pilau rice and nan bread.
Pizza - Astoria Pizza. Huge menu and everything is good!
Souvlakia - Gregory's Take Away. Makes legendary souvlakia and awesome pork chops.

curry-has to be haweli in pound lane for takaway plus the deliver, my landlords have been going there years.

if its for a site down curry meal its the surrey palace in kingston road.
bit pricey but worth the treat somtimes.

fish and chips
there are loads round here, but it has to be superfish in ewell village.
again pricey but the fish and chips are quality.
all the other chippys round here the qaulity of the fish is shit.

chinese, there are a few round here, go-sing on hook road.
or dinner box in pound land, both as good as eachother.

pizza-kebabs- dont really eat them to be honest.
dominoes is a rip off and im only ever pissed when i eat a kebab

Best chinese - ming wo on lyndhurst road
best chippy - a very close between bellfields in burnley wood and townley st chippy on townley st.

there is no shortage of eateries in burnley, and most of them are pretty good, with the occasional shite on.

No way man! They look oven cooked! Always share a Lal-qila (near the bus station). For chicken and stuff I get dixy , it's nasty but cheap haha.

I know this was done a while back but I think that was just for chip shops. It would be nice to know where others like to go in the areas they live. Just give a vague clue as to where you are living and what takeaways you would recomend.

Newcastle (West)

Chip Shop - Gormans at Cowgate...Fish and chips
Chinese - Delicious at Blutcher...Deep fried chicken in spicy chilli and salt, Fried chicken in spiced sauce, singapore style chow mein and fried rice (avoid there chips tho)
Tandori - (I'll have to come back to this one our lass always orders those)
Pizza - Ive yet to find a really nice one that delivers.

General pissed up takeaway that deliver in the early hours - Antep (Thanks to Willip2003 for that catagory)

Chip Shop - Marshalls (Tynemouth) Best in the world and cannot be beaten...Fish and chips
Chinese - Chop Suey House (Forrest Hall) - Prices have never gone up in years. Good portions and a lush meal
Tandoori - Fossway Tandoori (Walkergate) - Only go hear so cant really compare
Pizza - Miami Pizza (Walkergate) 'Any 8" £2' - 'Any 10" £3' - 'Any 12" £4' - Collection Only

Used to love Pizza Cottage opposite Lloyds TSB, gone down hill since the spanish bloke from yorkshite left lol. he always gave the kids a free portion of chips and free cans of pop with every meal.

I'm still looking for the decent consistent places round here. They all have issues either crap chips soggy or greasy some times, The ones Chinese dishes vary too much I think it depends on who is cooking it weather you get plenty of veg in there or none.

Decent chippy, good every time is Clayton Street chippy in Great Harwood. old school chippy. Sells fish chips peas gravy puddings and pies all home made perfect every time. Remember I live in Bolton and will travel to Gt Harwood for their chips. A few local ones deserve a mention Olympus in Bolton but Jesus its expensive and the market chippy in Farnworth I guess thats because everything is always fresh due to foot traffic with its location but only opens during the day.

Pizza all the local ones are crap, use crap cheese, burn it and they just taste crap, best one other than a chain is Maximillian pizza in Leigh again I will travel to that place. I love pizza hut and domino's.

Farnworth is over run with takeaways and the only decent ones are the Indians they are all very good.

Best Pizza takeaway I would go for is Enzo's but they don't deliver. Other than that Santa's. Not tried Sumbuls so will give it a shot next time
