Default magic eye for controlling sky in second room..

I've just got a new lcd for another room in our house. I'm gonna hook up to sky box downstairs with a coaxial cable. This will just give me a 'copy' of whatever is on downstairs so I would like to be able to change channels etc from the second room. I used to have one of those video senders/receivers so could do just this. Problem was reception was shat on the second tv. Lots of fuzzy pictures, lines across the screen and picture going completely.

I found this http://www.amazon.co.uk/SLx-Magic-Ey...2855876&sr=8-1 is this specifically for controlling from another room? Anyone got one?

What I want is the same functionality of the video sender/receiver but with a permanent connection by cable rather than infra red or will this magic eye pods about with reception?
