yeah last few days i have read in different papers that barca are keen on getting him signed so i dont see united having a chance if they are sniffing around.

but they have just signed that player bebe, dont know if he is any good but seems that real madrid were sniffing arounf him.

doubt it mate , I can see the ozil deal with Barca tho working especially if City can tempt Ibrahimovic with their oil stained cash!
To be honest if Ozil comes to Utd then great he looks a good player but im not all that loved up with him, and if we paid a lot of money for him that too would be annoying as im a bit on the bench over him at the moment. We still need a quality holding midfielder, a Mascherano/Essien/Roy Keane type player that we have been missing for years. I dont think Ozil fits this catergory as he's definately more of an attacking threat.

With Kaka playing in his ideal position once back from injury at Real and Canales and Van der Vaart there too? No, there was a position and a definite need for him at United. If United made any advances they can't have been very strong.
