Wanted: Faulty 40gb PS3 with cables and pad

A mate of mine is after a faulty ps3 40gb machine, it has to be a laser fault and not ylod as he has a machine with ylod and the laser is fine so he is on about buying a faulty one to replace the laser.

if anyone has one for sale please post in here and ill get back to you asap.

he prefers with a pad and all cables but a pad is not too important as long as it has its cables.

Ebay is probably best bet mate. I bought one off there a few months ago with a faulty laser. Fitted a new laser and had it up and running all for under £90

yeah ive seen a few on ebay but a lot of crap goes on ebay, things like "the ps3 has been opened just to check to see if the games did not load" etc. hence asking here as i trust df members more than ebay sellers if you see my point.

some are ok, the ones where seals are intact although in this day and age seals mean nothing m8 trust me :/
