upgrade time so selling this off.
would prefer to sell it together as it makes a nice upgrade kit and saves me the hassle of posting everything seperately, will split it though if there is enough interest.

i should have made it clearer, the surface of the cpu heatspreader and base of the heatsink were sanded down to make them flat. and the cpu was used overclocked. not that theres anything wrong with the kit.

will work out the postage, need to dig out the original box for the mobo etc

But it can still be used as-is, with no overheating problems?
Does the heatsink fit flush onto the top of the chip for heat dissipation?

Lastly, what was it overclocked to (and stable)?

yep no problems with it, no overheating or anything like that, the heatsink itself is a monster!
it fits fully flush no problems there, youll need some decent thermal paste to go with it.
i had it running at 3.2ghz and had it set to 200x8, 3.6ghz is possible but isnt worth it because of the heat etc, i found 3.2 to be the best balance for me. youll need to play around with the bios a bit but theres plenty of guides and articles specifically for this cpu.
