    Wanted Netbook

Looking for a netbook for watching some DivX's and such on the go. Would be handy to have at least 32GB storage and a webcam.

Ideally around the £100 mark but could pay more if it was really worth it. I'd like to avoid Acer. A resolution of 1024x600 at least.

    Cheers, Chris.

    Hiya

Misus is selling her Black Dell Mini 10v which has the following spec:

    Atom 1.6
    1GB RAM
    1024 x 600
    160GB HDD
    Webcam
    Bluetooth
    Windows 7

I have my own 10v which triple boots into either Win7, Snow Leopard or Ubuntu. They are quite a versatile little bit of kit.

Comes 'as new' boxed. Just checked the Servicetag against Dell Warranty website and it has 141 days left.

    £145 delivered.

    Cheers

    Al

never had any probs with my acer aspire one and i have tried everything on it, just got to ask why you would not want an acer one...??

lets be honest as well, from when they 1st come out they are not a lot diff to the ones out now in perfomance or specs.

Why does "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean
    the same thing?

This sounds ideal but is a bit overbudget for me... I could stretch to £130 though. If you can accept that I'm ready to PayPal/BT.

I don't doubt that Acer don't make some good products, however out of the two Acer laptops and an LCD monitor I've had they've all become faulty or suffered from poor quality issues. That's put me off the brand altogether.

That said, my Dad had an LCD monitor for years with no problem and my partners folks have an Acer laptop thats much better than the HP that had various hardware failures.

I'd prefer BT if that's OK?

Missus is going to get all her photos & music off and then I'll wipe it down ready for you

    Cheers
