Never really been into the Halo games, not a fan of shooting plasma at aliens, I prefer more realistic shooters...BUT...

I played through the first bit of this for about 30mins and quite liked it.
I can imagine it being a lot better playing with 3 other real players in your squad, so I might give this a go.

Anyone playing this on Kai? I'm well impressed with the system, hardly any lag compared to live! My mate is using this Ixtreme copy where as I'm booting it from my Jtag w/ the ping bypass installed. Tried Left 4 Dead 1 on it earlier too, hardly any lag and voice works great! Blasted through the co-op campaign today with no issues either.

Playing through the campaign and so far I'm impressed. MP will be excellent this time round.

Really enjoying this currently at the torch and burn level. I am really enjoying the different vehicles you can drive. This is defo my fav game of the year so far.

One downside for me that I am seeing is that you can pretty much go through the levels I have played just using your right bumper button to kill them.

Up to the level I am at (torch in burn or something like that) I have experienced some new level of monsters or variation of same monster with extra shield generation but the cycle seems to be the same.

Hint for killing those monsters that fire green bolts at you

I am not liking the big beasts that shoot green bolts of energy at you but found by mistake if you hit them in the right place 4 times I think it was you can take them out with your right bumper - save wasting bullets lol

I am not too clued up on the guns yet and which are better etc. It is though very clear that using certain guns will be more beneficial on different enemies and others have very limited impact when used on certain enemies.

Loving this so far, only on level 3 and its pretty damn tough (playing alone on heroic) some of these bastards take some putting down!

I've got the ping bypass patch installed so I can connect to anyone. My mate has a 20mb connection w/ a ping of around 15. We get better performance out of Kai than Live.

Just started looking into xlink kai never even knew you could use it on the 360 - remember using it on the original xbox - try and get it sorted tomorrow
