A Hover I've never seen before.

..at least I suspect it's a Hoverfly. This big fat Pie eater came barging its way in onto the goodies and stuck around for a few hours.

I thought initially it was a bee but when it began to hover in the one spot, I knew it wasn't.
As usual, the yellow bar to view properly.

Some quality amazing shots there, the wings are fantastic but the 3rd pic is my fav. Good work. Let's hope the next comp isn't insects?
