    my opinon absolute rip off.

did the one for oct, school holidays. first one in and gave them any in north east yorkshire.

said it was full, but checking all the websites they have them at top dollar.

just a con to fillup the places that wont shift.

    my opinion anyways.

We've done them a couple of times. Never quite as cheap as they make out, but still good. Weekends accomodation for less than £50 for 4 people is a winner.

I've done two of these and vowed never again.
Always full of pikey chav scumbags with their pikey chav scumbag kids in greasy tracksuits and the entire Argos catalogue collection of chains and sovereign rings, homemade tattoos, lovebites and Ford Escorts with Super Fandago wide wheels, high level brake lights, static strips and the obligatory "turbo" sticker on the back.
Swimming pools full of old plasters, piss and other unidentified stains, Games room full of snotty nosed shitty nappied toddlers grizzling and wandering round with a bag of cheese n onion and social club full of all of the above pissed on WKD blue and Lambrini.

Fuck that for a game of soldiers.

That's true of pretty much everywhere, lol. The accomodation was alright though, just don't rely on the site providing decent entertainment. For example, we had a weekend in Kent, and spent the day times at Leeds Castle, which we really enjoyed. Then in the evenings we played scrabble in the caravan, this is how I roll.

It is what it is, I wouldn't recommend you treat it as your holiday for the year , but it's something to do for a few days.

In truth I did one north and one south and they were both exactly the same.
Most amusing watching the chavs pissed, stumbling about like Bambi on Ice and either pissing into the strategically placed ornamental shrubs or eating their chips backwards into them.

wow, we've done these as "little breaks" between summer hols and never had a problem.

Furthest north we've been is linconshire, and furthest south was the isle of white.

We had a crap one as Minehead, but then that's Butlins so didn't expect much.

Parkdean ones are really nice and most are Haven, which is alright for what you pay for.

so either we've been lucky, or we're "pikey chav scumbags", but we don't drink, have tatoos, own a ford escort (or tracksuit). Ok I have a chain though

we have been minehead for the last 3 years. I found the first year to be a bit of a let down untill the last couple of days. We was taking to a couple who had been for the last 10 years and explained why was was thinking we had wasted our money. It was then that we found out all the little tricks that you need to do, like queueing for ages to get good seats, and the other fun stuff that kids like to do. Also explained that you need to complain about anything and everything on the first day. Doing so gets you lots of goodies.

Went back the second year and had a whale of a time. This year it was much harder to get what i wanted but still had a good go. Still the kids loved it and we will be going next year too.

Whatever you do dont book for the cheap crap as that is what you get.
