A good friend has been urging me to join for a long time, he says he visits here every day and this is one of the best forums.
I was a bit apprehensive of the application form but possibly some of you must recognise me from other forums as my application was successful.
I am a (nearly retired) fisherman but have always been involved with all things electronic, I worked for BT for many years until they offered money for voluntary redundancy.
I hope I will be able to contribute something, I am very busy at present but don't want to end up in the naughty room for being a "lurker"

What a welcome, I have never had so many replies to an introduction thread on a satellite forum, it is usually just "hello kiss my arse and keep to the rules"
To set the record straight in case anyone believes LS, I do have one registered fishing boat but prefer other people to use it as I am coming up to retirement age, I have never been seasick and haven't had the other sort of crabs since I was a teenager!
