    Default Pentatomidae - Shield Bug

Part of the Pentatomidae superfamily a.k.a Stink Bugs, this little guy was lurking on the seed head of a poppy plant. I was in the middle of photographing my Bees when somehow, I managed to spot it. Probably about 10mm in length and 8 mm in width. Very bold little creature.

I think this is the Hawthorn Shield bug variety amusingly titled Acanthosoma Haemorrhoidal

    Some back detail

And an obligatory splash of colour to finish
