Yeah I stumbled across this recently too, makes the genuine R4's better than my cloned one.

    woohoo...AWESOME....

we still use the original R4 carts i got off glenn quite a few years ago so this is good news for me.

    superb find baronvon...

    thank you..

Why does "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean
    the same thing?

I changed to a clone for the 4gb sd support, I've got an original one around somewhere though, I might swap back (or just use two ) Saying that, I haven't played any ds in ages. Perhaps I should head to the 'whats everyone playing' thread.

    The R4 lives on ..

I was more or less ready to give up on the R4 and buy a M3 till this appeared.

Good to see it updated regularly as well

works a treat, got toy story 3 and sega all star racing to play on the old R4 card

might be worth pointing out this from the release notes:

    Saves:
Wood R4 supports RAW format save files named ROM-NAME.nds.sav. You will need to rename your save files in order to make use of them.

Help! I've got a card here labbeled up as "R4 Deluxe Revolution" and Wood firmware doesn't work (just get "Loading")

This did have R4 Deluxe 1.20 firmware on it... it has let me upgrade to 1.22 but 1.26, 1.27, 1.30 all don't work.

Has anyone got any idea's or is there nothing else out there that will work?

I am in the same boat so any advice would be welcome. If these cards can't be updated to play the latest games then what would be the best card to buy as a replacement ?
