Was looking at this on the news earlier and I did wonder who's "bright" idea was it for his 1st book signing to be in Dublin FFS. I mean dublin is a wonderful place ect. But british prime ministers aren't the most popular down those parts in the 1st place......I suppose this was a caculated thing where they knew there would be trouble and it would make then news....and therefore expose the book to even more punters....TBH i will read it due to the fact that Ive read em all....sometimes them types of books can open your eyes and be pretty dam good. They have historically been out of office for a wee bit longer than blair has though before the memoires come out.

I was just reading that Blair, and indeed all former PMs get 2 body guards assigned to them for the rest of their lives. These people follow him all over the world, travelling first class and staying in the same top hotels. So his publisher is footing the bill for his flights, hotel bills, expenses etc.. whereas the British tax payer is paying for his two shadows.
