I've said it before and I'll say it again, childhood sweethearts/first love's getting married will always end in tears, resentment, jealousy etc. etc.

I've seen it so many times...both halves have never got into bed with anyone else, so not only are they clueless in bed but they have to listen to their friends stories about shagging and wonder "hmmm...what would it be like to fuck someone else? ". This eats away at them for years and inevitably one of the couple if not both end up hating each other or giving in to the Pandora’s Box that they have heard so much about. This applies to men and women and from what I have seen it's more often the birds that end up leaving their blokes for pastures new.

I think it's healthier for a marriage or long term relationship if you have both had at least a few previous relationships, one night stands, bunk ups etc before you settle down.

Both. Are you really surprised though? They live an incredibly cocooned life, some of them are effectively "groomed" for their clubs from the age of 8 or so, by the time most of them reach 17 or 18 they will be totally removed from what we would term a normal youth (those that dont conform pretty quickly seem to be on the scrap heap). Their education will have largely suffered, and therefore many are labelled thick when they might actually not be. Then some of them become, literally overnight, instant millionaires. I reckon I would have been pretty wild had someone been playing me as little as £10k a month when I was 18 instead of the £300 a month I had to live on as a student. I'm not saying it excuses anything, but part of their behaviour is almost understandable. Understandable not excusable, yeah I like that.

Beckham was under Fergies control from a much younger age, plus I dont see how you can say what happened during the latter years of his United career as being under control. He was - Victorias. You could also question though the individuals. I don't know either of them personally, but they come over as very different men, and with quite different backgrounds.
