Works fine for me. I've been online all day with it. Can't download of the PSN store though but I'm working on that. Got multiple chained proxies and a bit of extra code from myself that I'm hoping to get to a point where it pretends to be a legit one. Authorisation is working but the downloads are failing for some reason. Got it to a point where I can force a download of the files to a cache and get the activation but it still doesn't want to install.. Bit more work to try. Don't know if this will work but the logs are promising...

DNS trick is working for me, however I had to change the DNS settings on my router as it failed when I changed the DNS setting on the PS3.......

DNS wasn't working for me, I didn't think to change them on the router, I'll give it a try when I get home tonight.

LG5 was working, just kept on kicking me out randomly as it keeps crashing with a run-time error.

I was getting that with LG5 last night too but I am running it on Windows Server 2008 so thought that was why - changed to run in XP compatibility mode and it seems ok since - although my video streaming stutters if I have that setup.

Are those coming out in october ? if so then its a possible they may be 3.42 - buy one now with a smaller HDD and upgrade it or wait and hope its not longer an issue when you get one. choice is yours.

I swear that I read somewhere that the new consoles had debug/dev mode removed completely. As I can't remember where I read it, it could have been a dodgy source.

I just read the thread on Maxconsole, an unconfirmed rumour from an apparently good source.

As posted earlier, i would be very surprised if any of the consoles due for launch in 8 days had 3.42 already on them as surely they need to be manufactured and shipped which must take 5-6 weeks to get to retail. Whether they have removed the debug/dev mode is another thing
