Love this too, I forgot it was due in September, I was waiting until next month!! I am in the middle of watching Lost start to finish at the moment so will grab all of SOA after I finish, then I can finally start on Breaking Bad!

Not sure if you watched or liked the shield but one of the writers on that show created this, its fairly slow paced to start as it builds the characters but then it becomes one of those must watch the next one at 2am in the morning!

Although its about a motorcycle gang it draws parralels to a modern day Hamlet both story and Characters so don't let the main bikers theme put you off.

This has really developed into a good show. I enjoyed the first season but it was a bit sloppy, season 2 was a huge improvement and season 3 even more so. I particularly enjoyed the 'foreign' episodes.

The storyline/script is still over complicated in parts which leads you to believe you have missed an important scene, only later to find out what previous dialogue/scenes were about. I think if it was made obvious that there was a 'secret' then you would feel more relaxed watching the episode rather than trying to flick back to previous scenes trying to find out what's going on.

Still this along with Breaking Bad are my two favourites at the moment. I have been grabbing Dexter to fill in the gaps between the end of Season 3 of SOA and the start of season 4 of Breaking Bad.

I can't put my finger on it.... But I think it lacks a touch on the writing. Just something that makes it seem a little (for want of a better word) cheesy. I still watch it, and still like it, but feel it lacks a little bit of credibility. I also think Season 7 of The Shield went that way also.

I would rank Sopranos, Mad Men, Breaking Bad or The Wire above The Shield. And a few more above SAMCRO.

I actually think the third season has been terrible. I hate it when they do the shots of them from far away in...wherever it's supposed to be in Northern Ireland with stand-ins, and then when it goes to the close ups you can see that they're patently in the US and all they've done is make everything seem grey with camera tricks. All the Irish stuff has been terrible and boring and overlong. Ridiculous as well. I literally can't stand it when plastic paddy septics have a go at portraying anything related to 'the troubles'.



Sons of Anarchy has jumped the shark. That bit where they have a fight in the country lane with the RUC (I don't know what they call them nowadays) was the apex of the jump.

Just finished series 3 and I still think it was on par with series 2. Quite the dramatic ending too albeit strung out (well the music was anyway). Not sure how this leaves SAMCRO, I hate waiting a year for the next season this is why I rarely watch TV shows until they have finished.

I thought the last episode was laughable. I always knew the FBI agent bird was a shit character. I just didn't realise how bad....!
