Just a guess. The release is too big for supermarkets to ignore - just like the last major title release, MW2. Seriously, I wouldn't bother putting in early preorders. As long as you can get to an Asda, Sainsburys, Tescos or Morrisons on the day you should pick it up for a bargain price.
