Xbox 360 Kinect Dashboard Update 2.0.12416.0 Leaked

The (beta) Kinect Xbox360 dashboard v2.0.12416.0 with avatars has been leaked on the internet.
If you want to install this on your Xbox360, keep in mind it will disable your Xbox Live access until the dashboard is officially released. MS will only give LIVE access with this new dash if you are actually a beta-tester, anyone else will be refused access. And of course don't run this update on a jtag'able 360.

How to install:
1.) Extract the contents of 20124160_BETA.rar
2.) Put the $SystemUpdate folder in the root of a CD or USB Stick (Must be FAT or Fat32 formatted)
3.) Insert the CD or USB Stick into your Xbox 360 console.
4.) You will be automatically prompted to update with a USB stick, with a CD / DVD it should say Mixed Media Disc, power down the 360 and power it on again. You should be ask to update before the 360 boots to the dashboard.
5.) Once the update is complete your Xbox 360 will restart then boot up to the new dashboard. Enjoy!

I like to have a play with these things so i thought i'd give it a go, followed the guide on digiex all seemed fine till the last restart, then E74 & 1 flashing Red light.
My old fella always said if it ain't broke.....

Luckily the E74 error is free repair till May2011 for my console - serves me right for playin'

Is the console modded in any way mate?
What I'm gettin at is have the found a way to disable iextreme/jtag machines via this update, or is your machine unmodded and this is just a normal e74 at an unfortunate time?

Mines ok, did the update on a m*dded console, still use the boot disc thingy, games boot fine. Everything ok so far.

any jtag machine updated with any new m$ update will disable the jtag on the console permanent, no recovery.

i was gonna sacrifice a jtag and build a freeboot image with this dash

think the patches will be different, if you have any luck, let us know.
It'll only disable jtag if you update using the m$ official update, also if you have the bridged spots on the efuse circuit on the back of the board then you won't cause any permanent trouble.
