Default In need of a general work CV

I am in need of a general CV.

The one I have is a construction related (graduate quantity surveyor) CV and I think I am being over looked for general/ basic (don't mean i'm too good etc - but thats probably how I can define these jobs) in that I am over qualified and that I will probably jump ship as soon as a better job offer coems along.

I worked in a large grocery store part time for 5-6 years.

    Anyone have such a CV?
Also if anyone has a good quantity surveying related one they could also pass on, it would be good.

    Cheers

    FU!
    lol
I have tried that before, the amount of shite you get when you google it is mental, sponsored links, alternatives etc etc.

If i'm honest I would like to just copy someone's, nt be told how to write a CV etc.

On a serious note there have been dozens of threads like this in this section over the last while and all have had loads of CVs posted to them as examples or as people wanting criticism, have a scroll back and see what you can dig up.

I think the mistake is in your title. You shouldn't have a 'general' cv

You need to tailor your cv specifically to whatever job you are applying for. ie if it is nin a grocery store maybe leave out the quantity Surveying bit otherwise like you say they will just think youre gonna fuck off.

Likewise if you are applying for a Quanitiy Surveying job. don't tell them you worked in a grocery store - even part time, they'll just think you're a loser. You can always make up a different set of part time jobs which soomehow may relate to the job you are applyiing for in this instance.
