Default Anyone made their own avr dev board?

In the meantime while i wait until my order gets delivered from mt, i just wanted to know if anyone had built their own avr board with the pic 12f chip and if it was worth having a go at diy.

i used to do something similar a few years ago and would like to try it even if i get my proper one delivered.

and apart from its obvious use, can you still use them for other projects or is that just the proper avr boards.

is there a wiring guide for one of these?
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I thought the PIC18 was a suqare package, not a DIL package....no wonder I couldnt find an adaptor for my Willems programmer....it obviously doesnt need one ! doh.

the 18f you can flash a bootloader and then flash it over the usb port if you need to change/update the .hex file, so you don't have to put it back into the programmer. My pic dongle above is flashed without the bootloader cos i just wanted to see if i can do it....lol
it works fine so i'm happy with it.

you need to use the ICSP header for the Willem and wire like so:

    ICSP - PIC
    Vpp - 1
    Vcc - 20
    GND - 8,19
    PGD - 28
    PGC - 27

also use WinPic, cos the Willem app didn't work for me.

i was thinking of just programing the pic ,soldering a xtal to the pins then soldering it to usb pins inside the ps3.
whats the pic code like ,i read that its not perfect yet ?
i have proper microchip picstart programer so programing the chip wont be a problem.
