"Where you are is what you eat. When I'm in London I'll have beans on toast for lunch. On holiday what? Tapas? Go on then I'll have a bit. You eat whatevers in that area"

I live in London. Voted I hate London.
I hate flying, I hate airports, I hate planes, I hate the people associated with it all. Most of all I hate RyanAir.
Really, really, with a fkin passion hate RyanAir.
I used to like Luton Airport, but that's got shit. Used to like Stanstead, but that's got shit. Only flown once from City, and it's tollerable.
Heathrow is a hell hole, and Gatwick might as well be on Mars. I can probably almost get to Manchester Airport quicker than Gatwick. Fkin M25...
My big holiday next year will be utilising the car. Last time I did the same, was one of the best holidays and travel experiences I've had. Apart from getting off the ferry in Dover on the way back which is the pinnacle of depression.

Well I live about 15 mins from Heathrow and 45 from Gatwick. Much prefer Gatwick, easy parking, clean, good facilities, only ever had one issue getting in and out quickly.
I prefer Gatwick, smaller, quicker to get through and generally a nice airport.
Stop hating on London people.... what is it with this forum and its strong Northern bias? I mean its good to have aspirations in life e.g. moving down South

Heathrow only has one vote do far, but I think you could break it down to T1-3 , T4 and T5 as they could be different airport, in terms of getting there facilities etc.
I'm from the South, but now live in the North and the North is fucking shit.
If you can smell it, it's in your mouth.

We have a Cornish pasty shop on Oxford Street, so it proves we can be hard too. I say we, I fucked over a long time ago

London City for fast check-in, security, passport control and baggage reclaim, although £5 a pint in the bar is a f*cking joke...
Oh, and why can no-one spell Stansted properly?
London city for me, better than gatshit and heathoe.
Stansted is 45 minutes drive, pretty small and so easy to navigate. Never had a problem flying from there on easyjet or ryanair
Come on you Hatters... I'm actually quite fond of Luton. Its one of the quickest airports to get to from my Ma's place in North West London and its pretty compact and easy to navigate with short walks to the gates. I've also seen Stelios about half a dozen times due to the fact that its also the spiritual home of EasyJet.
