i see sky have now started to show some of there new HD shows only on sky HD not like thy used to at the same time .. an idiot abroad and a few others started only on there HD package .. trying to fleece more money out of us to watch there shows in HD no doubt

I got worried recently when Richard Keys and the football started advertising as:

"X v Y tonight on Sky Sports 1 HD and 3D"...

I was thinking...wtf - they arent showing it on SD anymore...?
Of course they were, but they just wanna plug the new expensive packages.

more of an anoyance is if you have HD quite a lot of the programs shown on the HD channels are not from a HD source there basicly upscaled
it's getting better as time moves on and more programs are from HD source but it's still anoying

another gripe about HD
one of my main reasons for subscribing to HD was All the HD movie channels carry the 5.1 surround soundtrack unlike SD where only the 2 premier movie channels carry it
every now and again you'll get a blockbuster movie on HD and no 5.1 surround the last one i can recall was transporter 3
it pisses me off why pay a premium for something thats not all there
