    Is there anyway i can unscramble ESPN on my built in freeview TV?

    From what I've read elsewhere it can be done, but the equipment required means it costs more than just paying the sub.

    It wasn't an exact factual link, it was the general consensus while browsing forums/articles to find out the above info...

    I'll see if I can re-find a few of the threads and post em here.

    Think you'll find its the usual hearsay that cant be backed up with facts!

    The encryption is N3 after all.....and no N3 packages are publicy hacked.

    Your probably right mate, I did say I just read through various forums.
    The general jist was that the cards needed to do it were more expensive than say, funcards (cant remember the exact chip/card)...and that they would get hit and need replacing regularly - which is why it was cheaper to just get a sub.

    Didnt know it was N3 though, so you are probably right mate.
    It wasn't something I went looking for, just saw this thread, googled and read a few extra links and thought no more about it.

    I get SS1/SS2 on my Freeview list too so would of liked it to be possible
