    Default Best courier service?

I wonder if anyone can advise me on a decent courier to use?

Would usually use RM special delivery but this item will be over the 10kg limit.

Item i need shipping is going to weigh atleast 12-14kg and needs to be insured upto £800 - preferably next day delivery also.

    Can anyone recommend one?

    Cheers

I usually use parcel2go have used parcelmonkey before as well but there customer service is almost non-existent / take ages to answer any contact emails and no phone number if there are any problems

Thanks - having a look now - the insurance upto £800 adds a bloody fortune to the cost - ie £40 over and above the delivery fee - not worth risking sending it without though hmm

Can't comment on the cheapest but the best I use through work is FedEx. They beat DHL & TNT (don't use UPS much). I get loads of packages through FedEx and they arrive in great condition, the tracking service is good too.

I use interparcel.com Cheap and to the mark. My carrier of choice is UPS, never had a problem with them ever.

+1 for them and UPS, never had a problem... although you need to print out delivery address etc. so make sure you have a printer handy if you go that route. They say you need to leave the package open so the driver can see the contents before they'll accept it but never had one yet who demanded that.

What ever you do, DO NOT use City Link.

As a former employee I know how shitty their treatment of parcels are.

Thanks for the offer but thats about 3 times the cost of most of the couriers quotes and about quarter of the value of the item - i realise you're probably not a big courier company though! thanks again mate, really appreciated anyway.
